Official Letter from Ma'am Cristobal!!

Dear Students and Parents,

Our school physician, Dr. Corazon Batoon, still recommends the wearing of maong pants. This will now be required for BOTH boys and girls until end of August, subject to extension. The wearing of maong pants by girls was initially lifted because of the intensified spraying this weekend.  However, according to Dr. Batoon and other parent-doctors, it is best to continue the wearing of pants. Maong pants, rather than slacks, is advised (and now required, effective Monday- August 23) because the thicker the cloth, the better protection against mosquito bites. Several TV news programs aired just tonight report outbreaks of dengue in different places in the country. Let us all remember that dengue is life-threatening.    

Still on the school attire, the maong pants should be blue (any shade) for uniformity. Girls will still continue wearing the uniform blouse and for the boys, the uniform polo. For shoes, both boys and girls should wear black leather shoes and socks (black or white). Aside from this prescribed attire, the use of mosquito repellant is a MUST.  

In connection with the uniform, may I take this opportunity to inform you that starting September, all students should have the school patch on the pocket at the left side of the blouse/polo. This will be part of the school uniform.  Patches are now available at the PSHS Coop.

Please be guided accordingly.

Important Announcement!

Next week, till end of August, girls and boys (yes, even BOYS) must wear blue maong pants! No other colors! JUST BLUE. Please disregard, the announcement of the wearing of skirts and high-knee socks. In addition to that, starting September, all students must have the school patch on the pocket of the left side of the polo/blouse. This will be a part of our uniform. Please pass.

HW for Tues

Yeah so here are the HW for tom ( I think ):
1. Geom: prove corollary 5-4.1
2. algeb: Ma'am is back, so better answer the 40 items thing ( sorry but I still don't know the page )
3. Firing squad tomorrow! Get readin' on those El Fili's
4. Bio: prepare a question about the chapters that you have read.

I think, that's about it. Oh and don't forget those homeroom slips. Slips deadline on wednesday (I think)! Half-day on wednesday, and no classes on thursday and friday!

Monday reminders!

Don't forget your medkits guys! The medkits must contain the following:
1. alcohol
2. cotton
3. other materials that are use to clean- well, you (soap)

Other reminders:
On Monday: Girls must wear maong pants with leather shoes.
Boys can wear their regular unifrom! Plus, get ready to have jogging pants on PE!
